April 3, 2025 - Com a saída dos EUA da agência da ONU que deverá ter lugar em janeiro, a OMS enfrenta um défice orçamental de $2.500m em 2025-27 – mesmo depois de fazer cortes de $1.100m no orçamento do próximo ano.

In response to the U.S. withdrawal, the WHO has reduced its budget request for 2026-27, from $5.3 billion to $4.2 billion, but has revealed that less than $1.1 billion of this amount is considered to be secure, primarily the assessed contributions determined by national GDP.
