Feb 2, U.S.: The 67th Grammy Awards are held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The Beatles received their first nomination for 30 years for Now and Then which includes John Lennon vocals recorded in 1970 and preserved through artificial intelligence.

Feb 18, UK: The entire grid of 10 teams, 20 drivers and Team Principals come together for the first time in F1 history to launch the new season in the sport’s 75th anniversary year.

Feb 23, Germany: Voters cast their ballots in a snap federal election, with Chancellor Olaf Scholz and his centre-left Social Democrats polling behind both the opposition CDU, led by conservative millionaire Friedrich Merz and the far-right AfD of Alice Weidel.

Feb 24, Ukraine: As the war between Russia and Ukraine reaches its third anniversary, the terms of any peace deal that might arise under the new U.S. President Donald Trump are still unclear.

Feb 27, U.S.: NASA launches the SPHEREx, a space telescope designed to create a 3D map of the entire sky to help scientists investigate the origins of our universe.

Feb 27-28, India: Ursula von der Leyen and her European Commission team visit the world’s most populous country to forge a new strategic partnership and advance talks on a free-trade deal.

Feb 28, Space: Stargazers will be treated to a rare alignment of every other planet in our solar system. Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn will be visible to the naked eye, while Uranus and Neptune will require binoculars or a telescope to spot.

Feb 28, U.S.: The Super Bowl LIX will be held in New Orleans with heightened security following the New Year's Day truck attack on Bourbon Street that killed 14 people.
