Tuquia, Grécia e Bulgária afetados por cheias mortíferas

Inundações causadas por chuvas torrenciais provocaram mais de
10 mortes na Bulgária, Turquia e Grécia e inundaram casas e empresas, destruindo infraestruturas.
In Bulgaria, at least three people died in floods caused by torrential rain in the municipality of Tsarevo in the Black Sea region.
In Turkey, four people died as torrent raged through a campsite in Kirklareli province, not far from Turkey’s north-western border with Bulgaria. Several homes were washed away by the floods in the town of Igneada.
Authorities said a further two people were killed and 31 injured in Istanbul, where images showed cars floating in floodwaters.
Torrential rain and flooding has caused two deaths in Greece, which has been battered by Storm Daniel.
The worst area affected is the central coastal region of Magnesia, where the village of Zagora recorded 754mm of rainfall in 24 hours, compared with an average annual rainfall in the Athens region of about 400mm.
