Sanções a Abramovich travam venda do Chelsea

March 10, 2022 - O proprietário do Chelsea, Roman Abramovich, foi sancionado pelo
governo do RU, bloqueando qualquer eventual venda do clube. O oligarca russo anunciou que pretende sair de Stamford Bridge em março.

On February 22, Roman Abramovich announced plans to transfer “stewardship and care” of club to trustees of Chelsea’s charitable foundation. However, by March 2, the Russian had revealed his intentions to sell the Stamford Bridge club, attracting interest from several interested parties.

Sanctions now imposed by the UK government will now freeze Chelsea FC as an asset of the Roman Abramovich portfolio, and the club must abide to strict rules of a special licensing agreement.
