Presenças na cerimónia de posse de Biden

January 20, 2021 - O Presidente eleito Joe Biden e a Vice Presidente eleita Kamala Harris tomam posse em frente ao Capitólio dos EUA, com a presença de um punhado de celebridades e oradores.

The 59th inauguration will include performances by singers Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez.

Andrea Hall, a career firefighter from Fulton County, Georgia, will lead the Pledge of Allegiance and Amanda Gorman, the first National Youth Poet Laureate will recite a poem.

Father Leo O’Donovan will deliver the invocation and Reverend Dr. Silvester Beaman, the pastor at Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Biden’s hometown of Wilmington, Delaware, will perform a benediction.

Biden and Harris will then speak to the nation via a 90-minute primetime TV show hosted by actor Tom Hanks and featuring performances by Justin Timberlake, Jon Bon Jovi, Demi Lovato, and Ant Clemons.

This year, the inauguration will be a subdued affair due to the Covid-19 pandemic and ongoing security threats.
