Incêndios florestais devastam a Nova Gales do Sul
December 17, 2019 - Uma vaga de calor que assola a Austrália com temperaturas acima dos 40 graus deverá afetar partes da Nova Gales do Sul quando os bombeiros combatem várias frentes de incêndio.
The fires have killed six people, destroyed more than 680 homes and burned nearly 3 million acres (1.2 million hectares) of bushland, Reuters said.
Bushfires are common in Australia’s hot, dry summers, but the ferocity and early arrival of the fires last month in the southern hemisphere spring is unprecedented. Experts have said climate change has left bushland extremely dry.
