The 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup showcases the remarkable rise in popularity in the women’s game, with increased participation numbers and steady growth of supporter bases.

Three other nations have been crowned World Champions: Germany (2003, 2007), Norway (1995) and Japan (2011).

A total of 52 matches will be played at 9 venues over four weeks, with the final taking place at Parc Olympique Lyonnais in Lyon on July 7.
