Trump schudt de boel op met schokkende kabinetskeuzes 8)

November 15, 2024 - President-elect Donald Trump continues to send shockwaves through Washington and around the world after tapping controversial loyalists to head positions for his incoming administration.

Trump has nominated Robert F Kennedy Jr – a vaccine sceptic who has a history of spreading health information that scientists say is false – to serve as his health secretary.

Trump has also raised eyebrows by selecting Matt Gaetz, a polarising Republican congressman, to be attorney-general, and Tulsi Gabbard, a former Democratic congresswoman, to be director of national intelligence.

Pete Hegseth, an army veteran and Fox News host who advocates for firing “woke” military leaders, has been picked for defence secretary.
