Hezbollah bevestigt de dood van leider Nasrallah

September 28, 2024 - The Israeli military says it has killed Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in an airstrike on the group’s central headquarters in the southern suburbs of Beirut.

Nasrallah, who has not been seen in public for years because of fears of being assassinated by Israel, is one of the best known and most influential figures in the Middle East.

His death would not only mark an enormous blow to Hezbollah, but also to Iran, whose Revolutionary Guards founded the group in 1982.
