September 11, 2024 - The majority of U.S. registered voters who watched the televised debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump believe that Harris won, according to a CNN flash poll.

Registered voters in the United States who watched the September 10 televised ABC debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump say, 63% to 37%, that Harris won, according to a CNN poll.

Before to the debate began, the same voters were evenly split, 50% to 50%, on which candidate would perform more strongly.

The results indicate a marked shift from June 27, when voters who watched the debate between Trump and Joe Biden said, 67% to 33%, that Trump outperformed the president.

On that fateful occasion, Biden’s incoherent debate performance ultimately led to him withdrawing from the election, allowing Harris to step in and replace him as the Democratic candidate.
