Trump wint New Hampshire

January 24, 2024 - Donald Trump easily won New Hampshire’s Republican primary, defeating his last remaining rival for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley.

“This race is far from over,” Haley told supporters at a post-election party in Concord, challenging Trump to debate her. “I’m a fighter. And I’m scrappy. And now we’re the last one standing next to Donald Trump.”

Haley drew her support from groups that were distinct minorities in the Republican electorate, according to Associate Press VoteCast. About half of her supporters were college graduates, and about half identified as moderates.

Trump’s second primary victory further cements his path toward a third consecutive Republican presidential nomination.
