May 9, 2023 - May 17, 2023 - The semi-finals in the UEFA Champions League take place across Europe, as the knockout stage reaches a climax. Italy are guaranteed a place in the UEFA Champions League final for the first time since 2017 as fierce city rivals AC Milan and Internazionale clash in the semi-finals, while Real Madrid take on Manchester City. The first leg takes place on May 9/10, with the return leg on May 16/17.

The 2022-23 UEFA Champions League is the 31st season of Europe’s primary club football tournament.

Real Madrid are defending champions having defeated Liverpool in the 2022 final. Victory for the La Liga heavyweights extended their record as the most successful club in European Cup history, with 14 titles, ahead of AC Milan (7), Bayern Munich (6) and Liverpool (6).

The UEFA Champions League is contested by the highest ranked teams of the strongest UEFA national associations. It is the top club competition in European football and one of the most prestigious tournaments in the world. The Champions League final is the most watched annual sporting event worldwide.
