April 11, 2023 - April 19, 2023 - The quarter-finals in the UEFA Champions League take place across Europe, as the knockout stages continue. Italy lead the UEFA Champions League quarter-final field with three teams for the first time since 2006, while two teams from England and one each from Spain, Germany and Portugal complete the line-up. The first leg takes place on April 11/12, with the return leg on April 18/19.

The 2022-23 UEFA Champions League is the 31st season of Europe’s primary club football tournament.

Real Madrid are defending champions having defeated Liverpool in the 2022 final. Victory for the La Liga heavyweights extended their record as the most successful club in European Cup history, with 14 titles, ahead of AC Milan (7), Bayern Munich (6) and Liverpool (6).

The UEFA Champions League is contested by the highest ranked teams of the strongest UEFA national associations. It is the top club competition in European football and one of the most prestigious tournaments in the world. The Champions League final is the most watched annual sporting event worldwide.
