Lionel Messi wint eindelijk de wereldbeker

December 19, 2022 - The FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar reached a dramatic conclusion as Lionel Messi finally achieved his dream of winning the World Cup for Argentina after beating France in one of the greatest finals in the history of the tournament.

Argentina secured their third title 36 years after previous triumph, beating West Germany in 1986. Only Italy have longer gap between World Cup victories (44 years from 1938-1982).
