UEFA Champions League Vrouwen 2022-23
October 19, 2022 - June 4, 2023 - Women’s football continues to thrive after the success of the European Championships as Europe’s new UEFA Women’s Champions League season kicks off on October 19.
Sixteen teams kick off in the group stage, including 8-time reigning champions Lyon, before Eindhoven hosts the final in June.

B: Wolfsburg, Slavia Prague, St. Pölten, Roma
C: Lyon, Arsenal, Juventus, Zurich
D: Barcelona, Bayern, Rosengard, Benfica
England midfielder Keira Walsh joined Barcelona, from Manchester City, for world record fee in September -- surpassing the fee paid Pernille Harder by Chelsea in 2020. The transfer sparked debate about the first £1m (€1.16m) female player -- transfer fees in women’s football increased by 72% in 2021, according to FIFA.
