Uitslag verkiezing eerste ronde

April 11, 2022 - French president Emmanuel Macron faces a difficult run-off against far-right Marine Le Pen of the National Rally in the second round of the Presidential election after they topped the first round with 27.6% and 23.4% respectively.

The first round of voting saw a reduced turnout of 73.2%, with many voters turned off by a candidate they didn’t like versus a candidate they didn’t trust.
