NATO-bondgenoten mogen in VS gemaakte wapens aan Oekraïne leveren

January 21, 2022 - The U.S. government has given the go-ahead for the Baltic States to send U.S.-made missiles and other weapons to Ukraine. The move comes as President Joe Biden predicted Russia would “move in” on Ukraine.

The third-party transfer agreements will allow Estonia to transfer Javelin anti-tank missiles to Ukraine, while Lithuania will be permitted to send Stinger missiles, Reuters said.

Separately, the UK has supplied a batch of NLAW (Next-Generation Light Anti-Tank Weapons) to Ukraine, according to Janes.

More than 100,000 Russian troops with tanks and artillery have massed on Ukraine’s border in recent weeks, leading to fears of an invasion.
