By Chris Dinsdale

October 6, 2021 - October 10, 2021 - The final phase of the second edition of UEFA’s newest national-team competition takes place in the Italian cities of Milan and Turin, and features the four group winners of the top-ranked League A: Belgium, France, Italy and Spain.

Italy beat Spain on penalties in their Euro 2020 semi-final on their way to winning the tournament, and are currently on a 37-game unbeaten run.

Romelu Lukaku heads into the UEFA Nations League semi-final against France as Belgium’s all-time top scorer, having also passed the 100-cap mark for the Red Devils since they were ousted from Euro 2020 at the quarter-final stage.

Belgium have been football’s top-ranked team for the best part of a decade, but the “Golden Generation” have yet to win a major tournament.
