“No Time to Die” eindelijk in de bioscoop na vertraging door Covid

September 28, 2021 - The new James Bond movie, No Time To Die, finally opens after three delays due to Covid-19. The 25th Bond film from Eon Productions is part of the world’s third top-grossing movie franchise.

The release date for the latest James Bond movie, “No Time to Die” has slipped three times since its original April 2020 date.

The outbreak of the Covid-19 global pandemic in March of that year put paid to that, as cinemas around the world closed their doors and global population lockdowns began.

Eon’s James Bond franchise is among the most valuable movie franchises in the world, having earned around $7 billion at the global box office – placing it third only behind Star Wars and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in first place. In 2021, “Skyfall” grossed more than $1 billion at the global box office on its own.

“No Time to Die” marks Daniel Craig's final outing as the British secret agent – a film that cost an estimated $200 million to make.

The movie premiers in London on September 28, 2021, and then opens around the world in the following days.
