By Ninian Carter

July 20, 2021 - Despite strict quarantine procedures, organisers of the Tokyo Olympics are seeing a multitude of Covid-19 infections befall teams and staff.

The Tokyo 2020 Olympics, postponed to 2021 due to the global coronavirus pandemic, will be held under strict quarantine measures to try and prevent the spread of Covid-19 infections in a city currently at a six-month high of rising cases.

However, despite its best efforts, there are a growing number of cases within arriving foreign teams as well as with locally employed contractors.
