July 2, 2021 - July 3, 2021 - After a lengthy 20-match group stage, in which both Bolivia and Venezuela were eliminated, the 47th Copa America enters the knockout stages with eight nations competing to be crowned champions. Rio de Janeiro’s Maracana Stadium will stage the showpiece finale on July 10.

Quarter-final fixtures (July 2-3):

Peru v Paraguay (Jul 2, Goiania)
Brazil v Chile (Jul 2, Rio de Janeiro)
Uruguay v Colombia (Jul 3, Brasilia)
Argentina v Ecuador (Jul 3, Goiania)

Since 1993, the tournament has generally featured 12 teams – all 10 CONMEBOL teams plus two teams from other confederations. However, this year only continental teams Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela will take part due to Covid-19 restrictions.

Matches will be played in the cities of Brasilia, Cuiaba, Goiania, and Rio de Janeiro.
