July 23, 2021 - August 8, 2021 - The 2020 summer Olympic Games, the Games of the XXXII Olympiad, take place in Tokyo, Japan.

The Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games feature 339 events in 33 different sports, encompassing 50 disciplines.

Swimming has been a part of every modern Olympic Games and is one of its most popular sports. Tokyo brings a new event – 4 x 100m mixed medley relay, where men and women can race against each other.

It is the second time that Japan, and specifically Tokyo, has hosted the Summer Olympic Games – the first being in 1964.
