Vergelijking nieuwe dagelijkse Covid-19-infecties

By Ninian Carter

October 27, 2020 - Coronavirus cases are surging around the world, with second or even third waves of infections taking hold in many countries.

New daily coronavirus cases are surging in many parts of world again, with some nations seeing a second, stronger wave hitting them – or in the case of the United States, a third wave.

The U.S. still leads the world with a total so far of more than 8.7 million confirmed cases of the disease. India is not far behind with almost 8 million cases. Brazil is in third place with nearly 5.5 million infections to date.

Countries such as France (in 5th place) and Spain (7th), which have by comparison much smaller total numbers of cases than the top three countries, have recently introduced night time curfews to try and stem the spread of the virus after witnessing alarmingly high increases in new daily cases.
