September 28, 2020 - Voters in a dozen battleground states will determine the presidential race between Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Joe Biden. The winner will need 270 of 538 Electoral College votes.

Of those, 218 electoral votes are in states rated as likely or solidly Democrat and expected to vote for Biden. An additional 125 electoral votes are in states rated as possible or solidly Republican and expected to vote for Trump.

That leaves 195 electoral votes that are up for grabs in states rated as a toss-up, leaning Democrat or leaning Republican.
