Bidens groter wordende voorsprong op Trump

By Ninian Carter

July 17, 2020 - Joe Biden continues to lead troubled incumbent Donald Trump in the run-up to November’s U.S. election, according to the latest poll data.

RealClearPolitics poll average shows former Vice president and 2020 Democratic presidential hopeful, Joseph R. Biden Jr. is 8.6 percentage points ahead of incumbent Republican President Donald J. Trump, who is seeking a second term in office.

Recent polls show Trump is slipping on the issue of the economy – once the cornerstone of his re-election campaign. Voters also believe that Biden would be better at handling the coronavirus pandemic crisis, which is wrecking havoc across the United States.

The U.S. election will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2020.
