Amazon geeft cijfers muziekstreaming voor het eerst prijs

January 24, 2020 - Amazon zegt dat zijn muziekstreamingdienst wereldwijd meer dan 55 miljoen gebruikers heeft, voor het eerst dat deze zulke groeigegevens prijsgeeft.

Amazon’s music streaming service has passed 55m users, closing the gap between it and market leaders Spotify and Apple.

Amazon is notoriously guarded about its customer numbers and this marks the first time it has released such data.

With 55m users, Amazon is edging closer to Apple Music’s market share, which last summer hit 60m subscribers.

Meanwhile, Spotify remains the market leader with 113m paying subscribers and 248m total monthly users.
