Deals geven Boeing grote impuls voorafgaand aan Airshow
June 26, 2018 -
Boeing heeft in aanloop naar de Farnborough International Air-
show zijn orderboek uitgebreid met twee Aziatische vliegtuigver-kopen van $14,4 miljard, en verstevigt zijn voorsprong op Airbus.
The two deals underscore the tilt of the aerospace market to Asia, where airlines are stocking up on aircraft to serve a rapidly expanding middle class, according to Bloomberg News.
Jet Airways India is purchasing 75 of Boeing’s 737 Max single-aisle planes – a transaction valued at $8.8 billion based on list prices – while Vietnamese startup Bamboo Airways is committing to 20 twin-aisle Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, a deal of about $5.6 billion before customary discounts.
