January 20, 2013 - The second inauguration of Barack Obama as the 44th President of the United States is scheduled to take place. As Inauguration Day, traditionally held on January 20, falls on a Sunday, Obama will be sworn in at a private ceremony at the White House, with all the pomp of the public ceremony at the Capitol pushed back a day to January 21.
