June 24, 2020 - O preço do ouro atingiu um recorde de $3.200 por onça quando os
investidores se desfazem de ativos americanos e procuram refúgio face à incerteza económica causada pelas erráticas tarifas do Presidente Trump.

Investors have been dropping Wall Street stocks, as Trump flip-flops, implementing higher tariff rates on dozens of trading partners without any warning and then abruptly pausing or reversing course.

The U.S. dollar has now lost its “safe haven” status, and has sunk to its lowest in 10 years against the Swiss franc and a six-month low against the yen, while the euro surged to levels last seen in 2022.
