April 1, 2025 - A Nintendo tem um bom extrato bancário, graças quase inteiramente
às vendas da consola Switch – algo que o gigante dos jogos irá procurar replicar com a Switch 2, a lançar em breve.

Nintendo has a pretty healthy bank balance, thanks almost entirely to its Switch console sales – something it will be nervously looking to replicate with the Switch 2, launching later in 2025.

According to Nintendo’s fiscal year reports, net sales peaked in 2021, with a total of ¥1.76 trillion – ¥1.67 trillion of which was generated by the Switch console and its associated games software and accessories.

As of December 2024, Nintendo has sold 150.86 million Switch consoles and a staggering 1.36 billion Switch games.
