New MRAP armoured troop carrier

April 8, 2008 - The U.S. military is ordering more than 20,000 new vehicles designed to survive IED attacks, which have been resposible for over 60 percent of combat deaths in Iraq. The MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) vehicle will replace the more mobile but vulnerable Humvee.
