February 28, 2025 - Desde que llegó al cargo en enero, el presidente Trump de EUA ha empezado a imponer aranceles contra otros países como parte de su agenda comercial "Primero Estados Unidos" – parte de los cuales entrarán en vigor a principios de marzo.

U.S. President Donald Trump plans to hit goods from China with a second, new 10% tariff to begin on March 4 – this on top of the 10% he already levied against them in February.

Trump also says he intends to move forward with 25% tariffs on imports from Canada and Mexico, which are set to come into effect on the same date.

He claims the Canadian and Mexican borders are not secure enough, with drugs pouring into the U.S. – a large percentage of which he says are made in China.

Economists warn tariffs on goods from these three countries could lead to higher prices in America as they account for more than 40% of imports.
