November 15, 2024 - Se espera que el 20 de enero Donald Trump entre al Capitolio de EUA tras su investidura para firmar documentos de nominación formal de sus seleccionados para los más altos puestos en el Gabinete y posiciones administrativas, poniendo en marcha elproceso de confirmación.

Trump has nominated Robert F Kennedy Jr – a vaccine sceptic who has a history of spreading health information that scientists say is false – to serve as his health secretary.

Trump has also raised eyebrows by selecting Matt Gaetz, a polarising Republican congressman, to be attorney-general, and Tulsi Gabbard, a former Democratic congresswoman, to be director of national intelligence.

Pete Hegseth, an army veteran and Fox News host who advocates for firing “woke” military leaders, has been picked for defence secretary.
