Ucrania enfrenta una importante reestructuración de gobiero

By Jordi Bou

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba is the highest-profile casualty so far of a major government reshuffle ordered by President Volodymyr Zelensky at a crucial juncture in the 30-month war against Russia.

Several other high-ranking Ukrainian officials also have submitted their resignations, including arms chief Oleksandr Kamyshin, who has overseen Ukraine’s efforts to produce weapons domestically, Justice Minister Denys Maliuska, who led a program to recruit convicts to the military, and Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk, who was responsible for the reintegration of occupied territories.

In recent weeks, Russia has launched massive attacks against Ukrainian cities nearly every day.

A double ballistic missile strike on a military educational institute and a nearby hospital in the city of Poltava on Aug 3 killed more than 50 people.

The attack on Lviv on Aug 4, which struck a residential building, has left at least seven people dead, including at least three children, officials said.
