September 2, 2024 - La temporada de cine de verano terminó oficialmente, y Deadpool & Wolverine dominó de nuevo el fin de semana de celebración del Día del Trabajo en EUA, recaudando otros $15 millones en taquilla.

The summer movie season, which officially runs from the Memorial Day weekend (starting May 24) through to the Labor Day weekend (beginning August 30) has drawn to a close.

For the second weekend in a row, “Deadpool & Wolverine” shattered records to become the best-selling R-rated movie of all time, topping the charts alongside “Alien: Romulus”. “Twisters” also made a surprise re-entry into the top five weekend blockbusters after dropping out last week.

Overall, of the movies that stayed in the top five for three weekends or more, the biggest hits were “Deadpool & Wolverine”, “Inside Out 2” and “Despicable Me 4”.
