Temperaturas globales en el máximo nivel jamás registrado
March 7, 2024 - El mes de febrero de 2024 fue globalmente el más cálido jamás registrado, según datos del programa Copernicus de la UE, la temperatura media fue 1,8 °C superior a los niveles preindustriales.
February 2024 was the ninth consecutive month to log the warmest average global temperature, according to the EU’s Copernicus Earth observation agency.
Every month since June 2023, has recorded a new temperature high – February’s was 1.8°C warmer than the pre-industrial period average.
In fact, the average global temperature for the past 12 months is the highest ever documented, at 1.6°C above the pre-industrial average, aided in part by a 1.1% rise in carbon dioxide emissions during that time.
