Los aliados occidentales suministran tanques de batalla a Ucrania

March 28, 2023 - Alemania y Gran Bretaña han entregado la primera partida de tanques avanzados de batalla a Ucrania, ayudando a Kiev en sus esfuerzos por hacer retroceder a las fuerzas rusas.

The tanks were promised to Kyiv earlier this year and arrived on Monday ahead of a possible Ukrainian spring offensive.

Germany’s Defence Ministry said that 18 Leopard 2 tanks were delivered after Ukrainian crews were trained to use them.

Kyiv also received 14 Challenger 2 tanks from the UK, according to reports from Ukraine.

In addition, three Leopard 2 tanks donated by Portugal also reached Ukraine, Reuters said.
