Invasión rusa: Informe de situación - día 355

By Phil Bainbridge

February 13, 2023 - Rusia dice que ha avanzado 2km al oeste encuatro días, mientras continúan las feroces batallas por el control de Vuhledar y Maryinka, con cerca de 50 ataques rusos diarios, según comandantes ucranianos.

Russia also claims to have captured the village of Krasna Hora on the northern edge of Bakhmut, the strategically unimportant but symbolic town that has been the focus of Russian offensives for months. Ukraine says it has repelled a major offensive at Zaporizhya.

In a sign of infrastructure problems on the Russian side, Ukraine says that Russia is draining the ecologically important Kakhovka Reservoir, also vital for cooling Zaporizhya Nuclear Power Plant. According to satellite imagery, the reservoir has reached its lowest point in three decades. Meanwhile a 200km water pipeline is being built from Russia’s Rostov region on Ukraine’s eastern border to supply the whole of the Donbas region which has few natural resources and is dependent on large pipelines which have been damaged by years of war.
