January 20, 2023 - El presidente Zelensky espera una “respuesta fuerte” de la OTAN y otrosaliados, que se reúnen en Alemania, sobre el suministro de armamento pesado..

Eleven NATO countries agreed a package of military aid ahead of the meeting, including Stryker armoured vehicles, Stinger air defence systems, Brimstone ground attack missiles, and Cesar howitzers.

Poland says it may send Leopard 2 tanks even without German consent, with a “wider coalition” of donors including Lithuania to follow. Reports that Germany was awaiting a U.S. agreement to also send Abrams tanks as part of the deal have been denied.

Moldova is also requesting air defence systems from its allies, fearing a renewed Russian offensive to the east to secure a land corridor to the breakaway region of Transnistria.
