Rishi Sunak se convierte en primer ministro británico

October 24, 2022 - El exministro de Economía Rishi Sunak se convertirá en primer ministro de Gran Bretaña después de que sus rivales Boris Johnson y Penny Mordaunt se retiraron de la carrera por el liderazgo del Partido Conservador.

Sunak becomes the UK's first British Asian PM and at 42, the youngest in more than a century, according to the BBC.

The ex-chancellor gained the support of well over half of Conservative MPs, with Mordaunt struggling to reach the 100 MP threshold.
