August 30, 2022 - El presidente Zelenskiy ha instado a los soldados rusos a correr por sus vidas cuando sus fuerzas están lanzando una ofensiva cerca de la ciudad de Jersón, rompiendo, según informes, la primera línea de defensa rusa en varios sectores de la línea de frente.

A Ukrainian military source told CNN that its forces have taken back four villages near the city of Kherson after breaking through the frontline in three places, with the main “target” being Kherson.
The operation began with heavy shelling of Russian positions and the rear, forcing them to flee, the source was quoted as saying.

Ukraine's offensive in the south comes after weeks of a stalemate in a war that has killed thousands, displaced millions, destroyed cities and caused a global energy and food crisis amid unprecedented economic sanctions.

It has also fuelled worries of a radiation disaster being triggered by shelling of the south Ukraine Zaporizhya Nuclear Power Plant, which a team of inspectors from the IAEA is expected to visit from Wednesday to Saturday.
