El Telescopio James Webb puede ver más profundamente hacia los orígenes del universo

By Ninian Carter

July 12, 2022 - El Telescopio Espacial James Webb (JWST) es capaz de mirar más atrás, hacia los orígenes del universo, que cualquier telescopio anterior.

The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) has begun sending back sensational high-resolution images of the universe, allowing us to see further away than the Hubble Space Telescope ever could.

Its first image was released July 12, showing the galaxy cluster SMACS 0723, as it appeared 4.6 billion years ago.

The following day, NASA revealed more stunning images of nebulas and galaxies showcasing the unparalleled resolution JWST is able to capture.

The JWST can observe all the cosmos, from planets to stars to nebulas to galaxies and beyond, and will help scientists uncover secrets of the distant universe as well as exoplanets closer to home.
