June 28, 2022 - Bomberos y soldados buscan sobrevivientes entre los escombros de un centro comercial en la ciudad ucraniana de Kremenchuk luego que un misil mató a por lo menos 18 personas en un ataque condenado por Naciones Unidas y Occidente.

Some 1,000 civilians were estimated to be inside the busy mall at the time of the attack at around 15:50 (12:50GMT), President Volodymyr Zelensky said.

The leaders of the G7 group of richest nations - who are meeting in Germany - condemned the attack as “abominable”.

Elsewhere on the battlefield, Ukraine endured another difficult day following the loss of the now-ruined city of Severodonetsk after weeks of bombardment and street fighting.

Russian artillery pounded Lysychansk, Severodonetsk’s twin city across the Siverskyi Donets River.
