Informes de cientos de muertes por terremoto en Afganistán

June 22, 2022 - Un terremoto de magnitud 5,9 mató a más de 900 personas y dejó cientos de lesionados en Afganistán. La mayoría de las muertes confirmadas ocurrieron en la provincia suoriental de Paktika.

Wednesday's quake was the deadliest since 2002. It struck about 44km from the southeastern city of Khost, near the border with Pakistan, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The toll is expected to grow as information trickles in from remote mountain villages, Reuters said.
