June 22, 2022 - Obuses autopropulsados alemanes llegan en el primer envío dearmamento pesado prometido por Berlín, mientras las fuerzas ucranianas y rusas se atrincheran en los campos de batalla del este de Ucrania.

The Panzerhaubitze 2000 is one of the most powerful artillery weapons in Bundeswehr inventories and can hit targets at a distance of 40km.

Andriy Yermak, the head of Ukraine's president's office, posted a list of other weapons promised by Germany, including 30 Gepard tanks and three MARS II multiple rocket launchers, as well as 500 shoulder-fired Stinger missiles.

Fighting in the months-long war has favoured Russia in recent weeks because of its huge edge in artillery firepower, a fact Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy acknowledged in a late Tuesday address, Reuters reports.
