millones en moneda digital en grandes ciberatracos.
Hackers have stolen $615 million of cryptocurrency from a blockchain project linked to the popular online computer game “Axie Infinity” – the latest in a handful of massive cyberheists to hit the digital asset sector.

Mar 23, 2022: Cryptocurrency tokens looted from blockchain project linked to game (most popular in Philippines).
STOLEN: $615m
WORMHOLE
Feb 2022: Decentralised finance site hit by hackers who make off with 120,000 digital Ether tokens.
STOLEN: $320m
POLY NETWORK
Aug 2021: Hackers rob platform that facilitates peer-to-peer token transactions – most funds later returned.
STOLEN: $610m
COINCHECK
Jan 2018: Suspected North Korean thieves attack Tokyo “hot wallet” (online digital folder), draining it of funds.
STOLEN: $530m
MT. GOX
2011-2014: In early crypto hack, bitcoins stolen from Tokyo
exchange that handled 80% of world’s bitcoins.
