March 4, 2022 - March 13, 2022 - Los Paralímpicos Inviernales 2022, conocidos oficialmente como XIII Juegos Paralímpicos de Invierno, se realizan en Beijing, China.

Beijing hosts ten adrenaline-filled days of the world’s finest paralympic athletes competing in 78 events across six winter sports disciplines.

The Paralympic logo, subtitled “Flying High” is a stylised version of the Chinese character for “fly”. It emulates the form of a wheelchair-bound athlete surging towards a finish line, with the typography recalling the calligraphic heritage of China.

Athletes to watch at the Winter Paralympics include:

Marie Bochet FRA (Alpine skiing): Eight-time Alpine Paralympic champion.

Tyler McGregor CAN (Ice Hockey): Canada are seeking first gold in ice hockey since 2006.

Liudmyla Liashenko UKR (Biathlon): Two-time middle distance biathlon World Champion.

Chris Vos NED (Snowboard): Silver medallist Snowboard Cross, 2018.

Oksana Masters USA (Cross-Country Skiing): Gold medallist at both Summer and Winter Paralympics.

Haitao Wang CHN (Wheelchair curling): Captained China to first ever curling gold in 2018
