December 13, 2021 - Max Verstappen de Red Bull conquistó su primer Campeonato MundialFórmula Uno con una dramática victoria sobre Lewis Hamilton en la vuelta final en Abu Dhabi, en un contencioso clímax a su duelo de toda la temporada.

Max Verstappen has become the first Dutch world champion with his victory at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, snatching the title from rival Lewis Hamilton -- the Netherlands is the 15th nation to celebrate the F1 driver’s title.

Verstappen is also the fourth youngest champion in F1 history after Sebastian Vettel (23y-134d in 2010), Lewis Hamilton (23y-300d in 2008) and Fernando Alonso (24y-58d in 2005).

British driver Lewis Hamilton is still aiming to surpass the record of German legend Michael Schumacher if he secures his eighth Formula 1 championship title next season.
