October 19, 2020 - Francia se prepara para expulsar a más de 200 extranjeros de una lista de extremistas luego que un maestro fue decapitado por un islamista nacido en Rusia.

France is to expel 231 foreigners residing in France, whose details are held on a government watch list of suspected religious extremists.

The move follows the decapitation of a school history teacher on Oct 16, by an 18-year-old Chechen refugee living in France.

President Emmanuel Macron’s government has been under increasing pressure to take a tougher stance on foreigners seen as a security threat.

Of the total number of suspects to be expelled, 180 people are in prison, with 51 living freely in France – who are now to be arrested.

France has suffered a litany of extremist attacks in recent years that have killed hundreds of civilians and police.
