Apple empieza el año con un precio de $300 por acción

January 3, 2020 - Las acciones de Apple alcanzaron un nivel máximo récord al alcanzar un precio de $300 luego de las celebraciones de Año Nuevo.

Apple shares passed the $300 threshold for the first time on Thursday, closing at $300.35 on the first day of trading in 2020, following the New Year holiday. A year ago its shares were worth $142.19 – marking an increase of 211%.

The rise coincides with Apple’s new agreement with former HBO chief executive Richard Plepler to produce content for its Apple TV+ streaming service, and growing optimism for even greater iPhone sales later this year when its rumoured 5G handsets arrive.

Apple is the most valuable publicly traded company in the U.S. with a market capitalisation of $1.33 trillion.
